We know how frustrating and off-putting it can be to buy the wrong size
or receive your order and realise it looks completely different on you than
on the model in the website.

That’s where Metail comes in!

With just a few measurements and a little 3D technology, Metail gives you
an accurate representation of how you’ll look in the latest garments before you make the purchase.

How we started

Our CEO and founder, Tom Adeyoola, wanted to help his girlfriend (now wife) find clothes that would fit her shape so she could really love clothes shopping. He had an idea, to find a way to obtain body measurements digitally in a simple, fast way and create a shopping experience tailored to you.

In 2008, encouraged by breakthroughs in computer vision technology at Cambridge University, Tom began to solve the problem of clothing fit online with co-founder Dr Duncan Robertson. Thus, Metail was born!

Metail has since developed a collaborative R&D relationship with Cambridge University, filed several patents, raised over £2m in investments and built
a talented and dedicated team. After three years in stealth, Metail launched with its first commercial partner, Tesco in February 2012. With a strong
pipeline of retailers to work with, Metail is planning for growth.

We see a future where you will be able to access your MeModel whenever
there is an online experience involving your body.
