Why and how do we collect information?

Metail takes your privacy seriously. We only use personal information you have given us so that we can process your application.

What do you collect?

We only use information you have provided us – i.e. details provided on your CV and any covering letters or emails.

How and where do you keep and use my data?

We keep your data either on servers within the European Union, or using third parties either in the EU or part of government-approved privacy schemes such as Privacy Shield which help keep your data safe. Unless required by law, we won’t give any data that can be used to identify you to anyone else.

How long will you keep my data?

We’ll keep your data for one year after the post to which you have applied has been filled. If you wish to delete your data (i.e. withdraw consent for processing) then please contact us at careers@metail.com For roles which are subject to Resident Labour Market Test, we have to keep your data for as long as the Home Office requires.

What other rights do I have?

If you believe the information we process on you is incorrect, you can ask us to change it, by contacting us at careers@metail.com
